  3.    This special section was assembled exclusively for the _St. Louis
  4. MetroVoice_ by Roger Moran and Kerry Messer, founders and directors of
  5. the Missouri Baptist Laymen's Association (MBLA).
  6.  
  7.    The MBLA was formed in 1991 to research and expose organizations
  8. which are incompatible with biblical Christianity. Both gentlemen have
  9. spent a number of years independently researching Americans United for
  10. the Separation of Church and State (AU) and other like-minded
  11. organizations.
  12.  
  13.    In 1991, the MBLA successfully challenged the funding of AU by the
  14. Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) and led a battle during the MBC's 1993
  15. convention to revoke AU's exhibition privileges at future conventions.
  16. The MBLA is currently organizing conferences across the state of
  17. Missouri dealing with the issues of church/state separation and
  18. religious liberty and how these issues affect the Christian community.

  20.    Information contained in this section has been thoroughly researched
  21. for accuracy by the MBLA and is supported by documentation where
  22. applicable. As readers will see, the charts and articles contained
  23. within this section reveal many alarming discoveries about AU's true
  24. agenda ■ and, the disturbing reality of the Religious and Political
  25. Left's influence on every aspect of life in America.
